What is Cognecy?

Cognecy is a Product Distributor and Value Added Reseller of Technology Products designed for private medical practices and Computing Infrastructure for general Business Applications. Though Cognecy specializes in the Medical Industry, many of its clients are not related to the medical field in any way. Through Cognecy's network of partners, they have helped clients establish cutting-edge networking infrastructure, high-speed internet and connectivity, interoffice communication, EMR (Electronic Medical Records), Practice Management, and Business-to-Business solutions, as well as providing networks with 24x7 support and service.

Cognecy's primary focus is to provide Medical Offices and clinics with a single point of contact that can bring together complete solutions for their practice including computing and network infrastructure, cutting-edge Electronic Medical Record and Practice Management solutions, as well as Medical Office Enhancement "Coaching" that can realize Return on Investment figures of a year or less with many clinics.

By developing strategic alliances and partnerships with market leaders and combining the expertise of these top tier organizations, Cognecy is enhancing Office Productivity and designing in Sustainable Profitability through Technology Innovation.

Company History

Cognecy Solutions is a Manager-Managed Limited Liability Company organized in the state of Delaware April of 2003 and is based in McKinney , TX ( about 25 miles North of Dallas ). Its founder and Chief Executive Manager, Mark D. Shipp, started this company with the goal of providing what he calls "Responsible Representation". This vision involves four critical facets: Professional Salesmanship, Customer Relationship Building , Belief in our Products and Services, and Leadership. The name, "Cognecy", is representative of this vision.

Applying this vision to the medical sector proved to be very challenging. Mr. Shipp realized early on that medical providers were looking for one company that was able to do everything. The problem was that this company simply does not exist. coining the philosophy that "A Jack-of-all-trades is rarely a Master of any". Cognecy became the compromise to this dilemma by structuring itself as a single point-of-contact with the ability to reach multiple services and products from the companies that were "Masters" in their trade. These services now represent everything from Software and Hardware solutions to onsite systems integration/implementation, software customization, clinical software training, and Professional Consulting. Simply put, Cognecy had made all the phone calls and formed the partnerships and alliances with best-of-breed organizations so the customer was not left to handle this task on their own. This business structure from the beginning was extremely well received and is reflected in the broad range of products and services Cognecy now brings together.

Mr. Shipp holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering from Colorado Technical University and has worked in Professional Sales for several years. Having experience within all facets of professional sales Mr. Shipp founded Cognecy on a solid foundation of knowledge, experience, and vision of what could be.
